Creative thinking!
I have been brain storming with a friend, Camille about some craft things I could try out. She also has some pretty cool crafts you can check out at http://camillescasa.blogspot.com/. I decided I wanted to try barbie clothes. Everyone I talked to said they are really hard. It was a little challenging but I think I did pretty good for my first time. Tell me what you think? Would you buy these or something similar? And how much would you pay? It took me a hour and 15 min for the dress but I think I could do it faster and 2 hours for pants and shirt. I don't think these are the greatest but I think I can improve.

Toy Story Birthday Cards
I wanted to make my boy's birthday cards this year. We are having a toy story theme this year. He really loves toy story but I didn't want it to be all about Buzz and Woody. My son also really likes guitars and I wanted to make a guitar cake this year so I wanted the card to have a little something from each thing and this is what I came up with. It's not as cute as I wanted it but it will do. My favorite is the guitar. What do you think? I will post the cake and decorations when the party is over.

More Project From Boise Trip
The main project I helped my sister-in-law is finally finished. We refinished a hutch. It had three layers of paint on it. We sanded it all they way down. That was the part that I helped with the most. It was missing glass and I suggested using chicken wire. I also suggested putting in her can fruit. She did all the hard work though. She painted it black and the ruffed it up with the sander. I think it really turned out great.

While we were working on the hutch my brother was working on this cabinet for their bathroom. I think it also turned out great.

Halloween Costumes
Redid some couches
My husband's parents gave us a couch and my sister-in-law gave us a love seat. I went to a Home Fabric store. They had some fabric for 3.00 yard. I redid the two couches for 65 bucks. It was a fun project and I couldn't have done it without my sister-in-law and my husband they were a lot of help. The first thing we did is took all of the old fabric off. We got it all down to the wooden frame. We started with the bottom, then the arms, then the front of the back, and at last the back. Then we used the old cushions as a pattern so we knew what size to make them. That is it! It was a lot of work and it took two days to cover it and two days to cover the cushions. Well here are the pictures! Tell me what you think!
